This alliance will streamline the e<strong>xchange of information for music catalogues throughout the digital value chain<\/strong>, allowing each entity to maintain its own data source.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In addition, <strong>Warner Music Group, Digital Service Provider Deezer and music distributor FUGA<\/strong> \u2212on behalf of its B2B clients who have chosen to opt in\u2212, have also been confirmed. Members of VRDA are committed to build an <strong>orchestrated approach<\/strong> to data sharing that will maintain the integrity of each contributor\u2019s own information, while granting VRDA members the permissioned ability to collaborate and easily update property information.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">VRDA will enable <strong>data and change management<\/strong> as well as collaboration across the digital value chain by building a two-way data flow to and from DSPs and owners. The initiative also <strong>facilitates the delivery and ongoing maintenance<\/strong> of better music rights data directly to DSPs and rights management entities or societies.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Verifi\u2019s engine \u201cverifies\u201d data, provides <strong>ISRC and ISWC<\/strong> matching services and works with its members to create modules to greatly simplify and improve the accuracy of tasks such as catalog transfer and ingestion, benefitting copyright owners as well as artists and songwriters.
